IMPERIAL Spherical Roller Bearings

DODGE® IMPERIAL spherical roller bearings use a patented adapter mounting system for quick installation and removal. The IMPERIAL roller bearing is available in flange, pillow block, or insert configurations, with interchangable dimensions and superior sealing options.

Imperial HD provides the added strength of steel housings.  For large bore applications (8" and above), Dodge offers the Hydraulic ISAF which incorporates hydraulic nuts and pistons to assist with installation and removal.

  • Move Up to IMPERIAL
    • The DODGE Imperial offers the exclusive Imperial adapter mounting system. Benefits versus set screw products include 360 degree concentric shaft locking for less vibration at higher speeds, use of less expensive commercial shafting, less shaft damage, and ease of removal.
  • Spherical Rollers in S2000 Dimensional Housings
    • Imperial offers proven double row spherical inserts in housings that match typical industry mounting dimensions. Pillow blocks, flanges, & piloted flanges are available.
  • IMPERIAL in SAF Dimensional Housings Available
    • The Dodge ISAF features the proven Imperial insert in an SAF dimensioned pillow block housing. This provides users the quick installation and removal Imperial is noted for, while avoiding the complicated and lengthy installation of typical SAF pillow blocks. Removal is simplified as well.
  • IMPERIAL in Type E Dimensional Housings Available
    • The Dodge Imperial E features the proven Imperial insert in typical E dimensioned housings. This provides users the flexibility of deploying the benefits of Imperial in applications where E dimensioned products have been specified.
  • Misalignment Capability
    • Imperial roller bearings provide up to 2 degrees of misalignment.
  • Expansion Capability
    • Imperial provides expansion and non-expansion versions. They are easily converted in the field by changing position of snap ring.
  • Superior Sealing
    • Imperial features proven sealing systems, the Trident triple lip rubbing seal and non-contact Labyrinth seal. Both seals feature flingers. The Trident makes use of a tapered seal land which maintains lip contact during misalignment.
